Leyden Gland — Kundalini Unsealed
Musings of the Eighth Oracle
Greetings Beautiful Oracle!
In the early hours of Sunday, 7 October 2007, I went to bed. A short while later, I suddenly felt an almost-unbearable searing-pain, burst forth within my Perineal Pouch, like that region had been soaked in a flammable liquid, and set on fire. Putting some cold water on the skin at regular intervals, brought some temporary relief. This condition lasted for several hours, easing off somewhat around Sunrise, reoccurring in several weaker and weaker waves throughout the day, and finally ending in the afternoon. This was the Unsealing of the Leyden Gland — the Kundalini Centre — within the Perineal Pouch (see Supplement 1 below), releasing its Elan Vital (i.e. Vital (Life) Ardour (Love) — Lux (Light) composed of Reunited Logos (Life) and Eros (Love) — see Discussion of Figure 5 on Page 18 of Liber Aether), the Light of Ascension called the Kundalini (see Discussion of Figure 14 on Page 36 of Liber Aether), and it marked the commencement of my Ninth Sphere Archetypal Experiences.
On later reflection, and subsequent research, I noticed that the Pattern of the Discharge of the Kundalini, from the Leyden Gland, matched that of a Leyden Jar. As mentioned above, after the initial powerful discharge of Kundalini, there was a Series of Discharges, each one weaker than the one before, comparable to the Series of Discharges exhibited by the Residual Charge of a Leyden Jar.
You should note that I did not force the Leyden Gland to be Unsealed — Aetherically Permanently Opened — to release the Kundalini. This experience occurred naturally — induced by my Guardian Angel under the direction of my Holy Guardian Angel (see Discussion of Figure 14 on Page 36 of Liber Aether) — and so I was perfectly safe. Forcing this condition to occur — unless it is under the direction of a competent instructor — would be unwise. Various kinds of Kundalini Syndrome symptoms of a Physical, Emotional, Mental, or Spiritual nature, can occur in the Unprepared. I've had no notable negative effects that I am aware of, with the main positive effect, being the slow but steady eradication from my system, of the Astral Parasites that tend to infest us, in this hectic, self-indulgent, modern world.
Thus, if you Naturally Unfold by performing the Invocation of the Sephiroth in Liber Lux, it should be a Safe and Profound Experience, due to it being Overseen by your Guardian Angel, your Holy Guardian Angel, and GOD.
The "Lyden Gland" (i.e. Leyden Gland) — less often "Lyden Glands" (i.e. Leyden Glands) — is the term the Edgar Cayce Source gave to a Pair of Exocrine Glands (see Supplement 2 below), that are Homologues between Human Males and Females (see Table 8 on Page 30 of Liber Aether). In Males, each one of this Pair of Glands is called a Bulbourethral Gland, Cowper Gland, or Cowper's Gland, and they are located in the Deep Perineal Pouch (see image above). In Females, each one of this Pair of Glands is called a Greater Vestibular Gland, Bartholin Gland, or Bartholin's Gland, and they are located in the Superficial Perineal Pouch (see image above).
(Q) What is the lyden [Leydig] gland and where located?
(A) Lyden [Leydig] meaning sealed; that gland from which gestation takes place when a body is created through coition, or inception, through conception of two bodies meeting in creating a body. Located in and above the gland called genital glands, see? In the male, above the glands corresponding to testes. In the female, that above gland responding to testes in the male. Here in THIS particular case, near the size of a wren's egg. Nominally should be about the size of a small pea.
The Edgar Cayce Reading excerpt above is convoluted and cryptic. The statement "Lyden meaning sealed" is particularly Veiled. I know of no reference source, that gives the meaning of Lyden, or any similar term, as sealed or anything similar. There is only one Edgar Cayce Reading that mentions a Leyden Jar, and the Stenographer of all the Readings, Gladys Davis, spelt it as "Lyden jar", within that Reading (see Edgar Cayce Reading 358-4). As mentioned earlier in this Musing, I found through direct experience, that the Leyden Gland acted in a manner remarkably similar to a Leyden Jar, and so I have corrected the spelling to better reflect this fact.
The average person never experiences the Leyden Gland being Unsealed — Aetherically Permanently Opened. Ordinarily, this Gland is Sealed, but it Physically Opens during Copulation, releasing its viscous fluids, and Aetherically Opens at Sexual Orgasm, releasing the Kundalini it has stored, into the Gonads, infusing the Sexual Fluids to assist Conception, and the excess is Temporarily Raised blissfully up the Spine into the Brain — as the Opened Leyden Gland is connected to the Pineal Gland, at the Base of the Brain, forming the Seat of the Soul — and then Dissipates. With pauses in between, the average person can have several Orgasms in a row, as the Leyden Gland has a Residual Charge just like a Leyden Jar. To help Conception, the Man's Leyden Gland Aetherically Opens to a much greater degree than the Woman's. Should Conception occur, then the Woman's Leyden Gland Aetherically Opens for the Duration of Gestation, to aid this Process (see Edgar Cayce Reading 3816-1). Thus — in terms of Dissipating the Vitality known as Kundalini — this is one determining factor in the longevity of Humans; Men naturally tend to rapidly release their Kundalini often (optimised for creating an embryo), whereas Women naturally tend to slowly release their Kundalini over time (optimised for gestating an embryo), and so this contributes to Women, on average, living longer lives than Men.
Through the Metaphysical Efforts of the Prepared, or the Karmic Results of the Unprepared, the Sealed Leyden Gland takes in much more Kundalini than it loses, through any periods of being Opened, and over time builds up a Massive Charge of Kundalini. When the Fully-Charged Leyden Gland reaches breaking point, then through some Physical, Emotional, Mental, or Spiritual trigger, it is suddenly Unsealed. All its accumulated Kundalini bursts forth in a fiery release, for accumulation and storage in the Gonads, in preparation for it being Permanently Raised, and distributed throughout the Body's Metaphysical Centres and Systems.
It is inconceivable, that after Centuries of Anatomical Research, a Gland the size of a small pea, that can swell to the size of a wren's egg, has not been found in such a meticulously examined space, within the Human Body. The Edgar Cayce Source usually referred to this gland, as the Leyden Gland. However, sometimes Leydig — the Person and the Gland — was mentioned, when speaking of the Human Body's Kundalini Centre. In Male Sharks, the Leydig Gland is composed of a Series of Glands, which excrete a viscous fluid that helps protect and transport sperm. In Human Males a Pair of Glands, the Bulbourethral (Cowper's) Glands, located in the Deep Perineal Pouch, perform the same Function. In Human Females, the Homologue of the Pair of Bulbourethral (Cowper's) Glands in the Male, is the Pair of Glands called the Greater Vestibular (Bartholin's) Glands, located in the Superficial Perineal Pouch. In both Human Males and Females, these Homologous Exocrine Glands are Opened at Copulation, releasing small amounts of viscous, protective, lubricating fluids. These Glands are located within the Perineal Pouch, exactly where one experiences the Kundalini's fiery release, when the Leyden Gland is Unsealed. Therefore, the Leyden Gland is the Pair of Bulbourethral Glands, Cowper Glands, or Cowper's Glands in Human Males, and the the Pair of Greater Vestibular Glands, Bartholin Glands, or Bartholin's Glands in Human Females.
So, in the light of the information I have given in this Musing and in Liber Aether, here is my paraphrasing of the Edgar Cayce Reading 3997-1 Excerpt given above:
Leyden is the term given by the Edgar Cayce Source, to indicate how the Kundalini is Sealed inside this Gland, in a manner comparable to Static Electricity being Accumulated in a Leyden Jar. It is a Gland that assists Conception from Copulation, and through which the Kundalini Forces flow into Gestation. The Leyden Gland is located in and above the Genitals. In the Male, the Leyden Gland is located above the Testes (which is the position of the Pair of Bulbourethral (Cowper's) Glands). In the Female, the Leyden Gland is located within the Genitals at the entrance (which is the position of the Pair of Greater Vestibular (Bartholin's) Glands, at around the 5 o'clock and 7 o'clock positions), just above the Male's Testes during (Missionary Position) Copulation, responding — by Opening — to their rhythmic contact. In this particular case, of a 16 year old male, it is near the size of a Wren's Egg (~15 mm diameter — within the usual range (5–25 mm), for both a blocked Bulbourethral (Cowper's) Gland, and a blocked Greater Vestibular (Bartholin's) Gland). Normally, it should be the size of a Small Pea (~5 mm diameter — the normal size and shape of both a Bulbourethral (Cowper's) Gland and a Greater Vestibular (Bartholin's) Gland).
